The Costa de Barcelona consists of the metropolis of Barcelona with the Costa del Maresme in the north and the Costa del Garrof in the south. The Costa del Maresme is located south of the Costa Brava, and runs from Blanes to the city of Barcelona on the Mediterranean. The coastline consists mainly of sandy beaches and is about 50 kilometers long. The most famous tourist centers are Pineda de Mar, Canet de Mar, Calella and Malgrat de Mar. The N-11 and a railway line run along the coast. Almost all campsites are on the landward side, which means that this road and railway line must be crossed to get to the beach. However, there are (pedestrian) tunnels in many places.

The Costa del Garraf runs from Barcelona to just before Tarragona, it lies on the Mediterranean Sea and has a sandy coast except for the Garraf mountains. There the coast becomes rocky with small caves. The most visited, and most famous, seaside resort is Sitges with its history of art and culture. Other holiday destinations along this part of the Costa are Vilanova i la Geltrú, Castelldefels and Torredembara.

His most famous work is the Sagrada Familia, but also discover the Park Güell city park, where Gaudí's designs effortlessly blend into the abundance of greenery. And while you are in Barcelona, a visit to Camp Nou is definitely recommended. The stadium is impressive, the accompanying museum is worth a visit.
