Camping Trenta on the River Soca is a sporty campsite in a valley of the Triglav National Park. Here ends (or begins) the drive over the 1611 m high Vrsic Pass, one of the most spectacular in Slovenia.
The campsite is beautifully situated on an alpine meadow, between hairpin bends 49 and 50, in Vrsic Pas on a fast-flowing river Soča. Here you can enjoy the pure air and the nearby mountain peaks. Trenta was originally a village of shepherds and woodcutters. In the village there is a museum that illustrates the traditions of sheep herding and mountaineering. Food and drinks The friendly owner makes a cappuccino like a real barista! Pizza is possible, inside bar and outside a small terrace.
