Camping Lucija

What could be better than starting the day with a dip in the sea? You will not be bored for the rest of the day either, because there is a lot to do/see on the campsite and in the surrounding area!

Camping Lucija in Portoroz is located directly on the sea on the green Seca peninsula. It is close to Portoroz Marine and Secovlje salt pans, hidden in an embrace with nature, but just a step away from the center of Portoroz.

The campsite has accommodation for about 1000 guests. Camping Lucija offers various activities: in addition to bathing in the sea, guests can try out various water sports, cycling, Nordic walking, guided trips through the area, etc. Dance and music evenings are organized for the campers. The sporty campers can play volleyball, basketball, handball, football, pétanque and bowling. Restaurant, bar, washing machine and play equipment for the kids are available.

Out and about?
Portoroz, the most famous Slovenian coastal town is within walking distance. When the sun goes down it's night club and disco time. The surroundings of the campsite are full of challenges, while Istria with its excellent cuisine and wine offers is within reach.

Camping and sports
Due to its location, Camping Lucija is perfect for long walks and various sporting activities. On the beach there is a playground with trampolines for children, which come in handy in bad weather. Guests can also rent water sports accessories.

Just 300 meters from the campsite there is a sports center with tennis and basketball courts, a football field and a mini golf course. There is a cycle path through the campsite and to the Sečovlje salt pans.

We recommend cyclists to take a trip on the famous old railway line, the so-called "Parezana", which once (from 1902 to 1935) connected Trieste and Poreč. It ran through Italy to Koper, Slovenia, and along the current coastal road to Izola and Strunjan. From there it ran through a tunnel to Portorož and Lucija.

Hiking enthusiasts can take a trip to the salt pans of Sečovlje, where the sunsets are particularly beautiful, or hike to Portorož and Piran . A road leads from the campsite to the marina of Portorož, past the tennis courts and to Portorož. The path from Portorož to Piran continues along the beach.

There is an excellent spot for windsurfing and kiteboarding close to the campsite.
