Campingpark Waldwiesen has given itself the task of using the ecology in such a way that the guests gain experience through them, which incites imitations. The campsite is a certified natural site. Why is camping so named? Because the camping site was planned in such a way that as little action as possible was taken in nature and as much nature as possible was retained. Why are there no mosquitoes, given the waters? Because there are enough birds that eat the mosquitoes. Why are the birds here? Because they have enough nesting facilities in the many trees and shrubs, which also provide food for the winter and contribute to this, that the birds can stay here and not starve. Why are the fish not being fed? Because they can feed on other animals that live in the swimming pond. This type of water is also called a biotope. One is proud of this swimming pond, as long as the fish can also be swum in it without creating a conflict between humans and animals. Why are the hacked bushes and trees finely chopped here? The flower strips are covered with the chop, so that little or no wild herbs (weeds) grow. If the chopping remains long enough, this will turn into excellent garden soil. Why do they make stone walls by stacking loose stones? Many animals live here (reptiles, frogs, etc.). During the day often lizards are sitting on the warm stones. The frogs come out at night and warm up their little bellies. At least that's what it looks like. Why do they use when building, material that was produced from the contents of the waste bag (including plastic)? Because this material is extremely resistant to environmental influences, lasts for a long time, requires little maintenance and because it makes sense to make something new from something old and also to use it. The children's playgrounds were constructed as an example of worthless material. To this end, stones found on the campsite, wood that grew on the property, and giant tires that came from a large tractor. Why do electric (hum) bikes ride on the campsite? To show the guests that electric scooters do not pollute the air, are quiet and can be charged at the socket. This charging costs € 0.60 for 50 km ..
