Vive la France! July 14, 1789, was the start of the French Revolution and is celebrated by the French at "Quatorze Julliet". It is a party all day long. Flea markets, performances, singing competitions and entertainment form the backdrop of France during the day. In every city or village, the feet will be lifted off the floor in the evening, with traditional French (accordion) music. If you travel through the country tonight you will see big fireworks everywhere, traditionally ending July 14. A beautiful panorama!

Gastronomy

French cuisine is known for its culinary delights and Burgundian food. It is even the most famous kitchen in the world! Think of the quiche lorraine, the baguette and the fish soup bouillabaisse. A valid passport or European identity card is required. Motor vehicle drivers must have a valid driver's license, vehicle registration certificate and green card.
