The campsite is located in the park of a 15th century Renaissance castle. The domain was initially used as a hunting lodge. In 1860 a renovation followed with an extension of two symmetrical pavilions and a round tower. It became agricultural area. In 1995, Jean de Houdetot and his wife started a campsite on the 23 hectares of hunting grounds of the castle. The pond was restored and the owners planted hundreds of trees.
