At the edge of the nature reserve where the El Gaia river flows into the sea of ??the Costa Dorada, Camping Bungalowpark Caladonia is located in Tamarit. This camp site in Catalonia is a short distance from the motorway and is easily accessible. Camping Bungalowpark Caledonia has a swimming pool of 5 x 5 meters for the little ones and a large of 25 x 12 meters. A part of the campsite is flat, the rest consists of terraces. For youth there is a junior club in July and August. The beach of Tamarit is about 900 meters away and the beach of La Mora at 2 km. In July and August there is a free shuttle bus but you can also choose to walk to the beautiful beach of Tamarit via the nature trail in about 15 minutes. The campsite consists of 2 parts. One part at the reception, swimming pools, restaurant, the bungalows and some camping pitches. There is also a narrow passage along the track and behind it is the 2nd part with the playground, most camping pitches, the sports fields and the decline to the beach. You will also find a number of new toilet blocks with luxurious shower cabins here. The large toilet building has been sympathetically restored inside. The campsite does not look luxurious, but there is a lot of things and the rates are very reasonable. Camping in Spain is so affordable. Via a country road just before the beach campsite you can cycle or walk through the nature reserve of the mouth of the river to the picturesque and medieval Altafulla. Culture enthusiasts can then cycle straight to the Roman Villa Dels Munts and other archaeological remains. It is also a nice walk along the beach to Altafulla. The other way, via the rocky path past the castle of Tamarit, one can also climb towards la Mora. By car / bus or train you are so in Tarragona or Port Aventura. Reus Airport is 12 km away.
