The camping:
Camping Danica **** near Lake Bohinj. Danica is located on the Sava River in Bohinjska Bistrica, not far from Lake Bohinj, at the foot of the mighty Triglav Mountains. The camp can accommodate 700 guests and has modern equipped sanitary facilities, a laundry room and a camper station. There is also room for a picnic and free WiFi. You will find a restaurant here, where once a week a Slovenian day is organized with typical Slovenian dishes. Every week there is a market with regional products.

Sport:
Guests have plenty of opportunities to practice sports such as tennis, badminton, volleyball and table tennis. You can also rent bicycles. From May to September, an animation team offers various interesting children's workshops and events. For example, there are free guided cycling and walking tours for all guests. The evening walks with torches through the dark mountains, where local stories and legends are told, are in great demand.

A blue holiday:
Getting to know the nature of Triglav National Park is an exciting experience. In Lake Bohinj one can row and swim in the pure and refreshing water. For trips on the rivers Mostnica and Sava Bihinjka you will feel the adrenaline rising in sports such as rafting, canoeing and hydrospeed. While parasailing, you can admire the reflection of the mountains in the water of the lake. Fishermen also get their money's worth along the banks of the rivers and the lake.

A green holiday:
Camping Danica is an excellent starting point for tours in the Julian Alps with the highest mountain Triglav (2864 m). You can explore the mountains on foot or by bike on the well-maintained mountain routes. Unforgettable is an exploration of the Bohinj Valley on an Icelandic horse.

The 15 km cycle route is new. which runs past the campsite and crosses the Savinja Bohinjka via a suspension bridge. Camping in winter Camping Danica is close to ski areas. The distance to the ski slopes is 10 km to the Vogel ski center; Senozeta and Soriska Planina. Other ski slopes are a 15-25 minute drive away.
