Camp Ajdovscina

Ajdovščina is the economic and cultural center of the Vipava valley. The valley is located in western Slovenia, 25 km from the Slovenian and Italian national borders. It takes less than an hour's drive on the highway to reach Ajdovščina from Slovenia's capital.

Avtokamp Ajdovščina (H4 highway exit) is located in the shadow of pine forest, only ten minutes walk from the center of Ajdovščina. You can choose from 50 spacious camping spots. In addition to traditional camping in tents, caravans and motorhomes, the campsite also offers a new apartment, where a family of four can comfortably spend their holidays. It offers neat and functional bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities and other facilities. It also provides water supply and wastewater disposal for campers and RVs.

Sports, nature and relaxation
The campsite is especially attractive for families and fans of nature, sports and recreation. A wide range of sports facilities and organized activities for children (swimming lessons, football camp, dance camp, ...) during the summer months ensures that you will not be bored here. Next to the campsite is the outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing areas, which offers relaxation and cooling on hot summer days.

There is also a children's park located near the outdoor pool which is equipped with play equipment, a large trampoline, a sandbox and an attractive flying fox. The park also has a race track for children from 4 to 12 years old. The campsite also offers bike hire, table tennis, volleyball and a bar. In the immediate vicinity there are: a football field with artificial grass, a multifunctional sports field, a sports hall, a fitness room, a sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a climbing wall.

There are countless opportunities for sports and recreation, especially hiking, mountaineering, cycling (walking and cycling packages), horseback riding, fishing. There is a tennis court and a mountain bike descent nearby. It is possible to fly over the Vipava Valley in light aircraft, paragliding and hang gliding.

Food and Wine Routes
The Vipava Valley is known for its excellent cuisine and colorful range of white and red wine. The Vipava Wine Route is marked with special signs and invites you throughout the year. On the route you can stop at several restaurants, tourist farms, wine cellars where they can offer you real wine and home-produced and cooked food. With the people of the Vipava Valley you will find the warmth of the original inhabitants.
