Beautiful family campsite in the hills near Pesaro, run by hospitable Dutch owners Hans and Sietske.

When you drive into the campsite, you already have some nice curves and beautiful views behind you. Because Camping Podere Sei Poorte is located in the middle of the lovely hills of Le Marche. And then you are talking about one of the most beautiful still relatively unknown regions of Italy. Tuscany on the west coast, Umbria in the heart and Le Marche on the east coast form the central part of Italy. Good and refined food, beautiful cities and a truly delightful landscape. The site is about a 20 minute drive inland. So a day at the beach is absolutely easy to do.

Largest pitches in Italy
And we dare to say this: the pitches at Camping Podere Sei Poorte are among the largest in all of Italy! spacious layout, terraces, a super-free feeling and when you have set up your caravan, awning, side tents and party tent, there is still plenty of space to play badminton, football or just find a place with your towel in the shade. Plenty of trees, so you're in good shape even in warmer temperatures. Assume approximately 150 m2....

Swimming pool on top of the hill...
If you walk up the stairs to the restaurant and reception, you will see the lovely swimming pool behind the restaurant, against the hill. The position is fabulously beautiful, all around views of the valleys and the hills around, one great swimming vista. Tip: go early, as soon as the gate is open, immediately take a job. Peace, quiet and a sporty start to the day.

Sanitary enough
There are beautiful sanitary facilities with a separate solution on the entire site: on each terrace you will find small units with showers, sink and toilets, so you never have to walk far. Small-scale, clean and not too eye-catching. There is also a larger option, the original stable which has been converted into a luxury sanitary block with all amenities.

Terrace is the core
The former farm has remained in its original state. Here you will find the reception, bar, restaurant and small shop. It is the beating heart of the campsite. Lovely terrace with mega view, where you can relax in the morning with a cappuccino, and later in the day with a glass of wine or a beer from the tap. On Sundays there is the special "Captains Brunch", which you absolutely must enjoy. The restaurant has original Italian influences and various regional wines are served. Sietske and her team really cook delicious food, highly recommended! The bar is a cozy pub. Dutch cosiness in the Italian hills of Le Marche.

Friendly and sweet
In the winter, the team of employees is put together. All Dutch boys and girls, who in the morning all discuss the daily schedule, whereby the various tasks are filled in alternately by everyone. The sandwiches in the morning, the sanitary facilities, the reception, the bar, the service, the children's entertainment. The variety makes it fun and you can see the fun in it. Friendly and nice soft atmosphere to deal with, both with adults and with the children.

Surroundings
In the immediate vicinity it is wonderful to walk and cycle, although the cyclist must like a hill. Monteciccardo and Mombaroccio are nearby. Small authentic fortified towns with a burgwal, typical of the Le Marche region. The cities of Fano, Pesaro, Rimini, but also San Marino are in the immediate vicinity, great for a day trip. And Urbino certainly deserves a visit!
