Landscape in Le Marche
In the west of Le Marche you will find the mountain range of the Appennines. The highest point in this region is Monte Vettore with an altitude of no less than 2,476 meters! Monte Vetttore is located in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The Monte Vettore is part of the massif Monti Sibillini. The landscape between this national park and the coast is therefore hilly and has developed into an important agricultural area. These agricultural lands are mainly used for growing fruit, olives and grapes. The grapes are grown naturally for the production of wine.
