The spacious pitches are divided over several fields, surrounded by varying vegetation. One field even has something of a terraced campsite. You can be there around both on higher places, with beautiful views, and on lower. This part can be used as an ice rink in winter, but is very attractive for campers on summer days! De Vier Bannen is located in the middle of a beautiful creek area, created by the flood of 1953. You can canoe there. The Oosterschelde is a popular area for divers from all corners of Europe. The water is clear with a wealth of underwater flora and fauna. De Vier Bannen consciously opts for simple facilities. Rest and green spaces are of paramount importance. The bathroom is good; the sanitary building is heated, wonderful in sometimes chilly days in spring and autumn! The camp site offers wireless internet (WIFI) for a fee. In July and August, activities are organized for children in all ages. There are play facilities available (table tennis, go-carts, petanque) and there is an animal meadow. Next to the campsite and on the edge of the lake is a water playground, where the kids can splash and scramble to their heart's content. There is a nature trail where you can get to know trees and nest boxes of various birds. In the summer, the recreation team organizes creative mornings and events with sports and games. Caissons are within walking distance of the campsite. These were installed here for closing holes during the flood in 1953. Here is also a museum. A restaurant under construction next to the museum.
