Camping Stavenisse in the town of the same name lies at the foot of the dike with the Oosterschelde on the westernmost tip of the Zeeland island of Tholen. The rural site has mainly many permanent places, but has separately reserved a few attractive parts for tourist campers with tent, caravan, camper or trailer. The sanitary facilities are provided; you even have family bathrooms. The Oosterschelde National Park is one of the cleanest waters in Europe. You can swim, fish and dive. There are several diving locations in the area. On sunny days the view of the setting sun behind the imposing Zeeland Bridge is a must! The campsite has spacious pitches (100 to 120 m2), the closest to the Oosterschelde. You can park your car in the parking lot or with your camping equipment. To the left of the reception a cozy cafe / restaurant and cafeteria. The campsite is run by a friendly family. From the partly covered terrace you look out onto the cozy swimming pool and the paddling pool behind it, surrounded by a sunbathing lawn. The campsite also has a sports field. In the months of July and August, entertainment for families is offered. The area is good for cycling and hiking. Trips include trips to Yerseke (Mosseldagen!) Or Brabant cities such as Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal.
