Landscape Camping De Vlugtheuvel is located near Stellendam on the Zuidhollandse Goeree-Overflakkee. The campsite is owned and managed by a friendly family. De Vlugtheuvel was originally a farm campsite. The campsite has an attractive, varying vegetation. Therefore, you have the spots to choose, sunny, sheltered or with shade. A number of places (180 to 210 m2!) Are bordered by hedges that are composed in such a way that certain parts and shrubs taken in by them in turn blossom. De Vlugtheuvel has the Green Key quality mark for serious and controllable sustainability. In the places you can offer 16 A electricity and supply and disposal of (waste) water. At the edge of the campsite a creek with a separate place for fishing. The center of Stellendam is easy to reach, including shops and restaurants. Stellendam has a subtropical (1 km, is drastically renewed and modernized in the summer of 2012) a marina, a fishing port with fish market and two sandy beaches. The area offers many opportunities for excursions, including the Brouwersdam (North Sea beaches easily accessible by car) and historic towns such as Brielle and Hellevoetsluis. The area is also ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
