Kampeerhoeve Koole is located in the town of North at the Zuidhollandse Nieuwkoop. The campsite offers excellent views of the Green Heart and is a wonderfully peaceful campsite. Various visitors come back regularly. The area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking tours. Since 2012 the campsite is connected to the Netherlands / Fietsland. But you can, for example, rent canoes and (whispering) boats at 200 meters from the campsite to go to the lakes. You can not sail faster than 6 km per hour, so fast motor boats are not allowed. The camping pitches are on grass and are about 90 to 110 meters big. But because you are usually placed in a circle, you have more space. People like to park your car in the centrally located parking lot. That will benefit the peace at the campsite! How much the campsite is popular with cyclists is evident from bicycle rental. They rent out dozens of bikes at the campsite, including various tandems. The camp site has a log cabin for 4 people for people who are passing through or who have included the Green Heart around Nieuwkoop, while cycling or walking, in their route planning and want to explore. Kampeerhoeve Koole has, apart from the camp site, also accommodations for groups, for example to accommodate clubs, school groups or families. A total of 96 beds, but distributed in such a way that smaller groups are also welcome. People assume groups of 36 to 60 people. The majority of the shelters are housed in the former farm. Those accommodations are autonomous, including sanitary facilities, bar, kitchen, television and the like. The accommodations are available throughout the year. The town of North lies within a few hundred meters of the campsite, including a supermarket and a snack bar. The larger Nieuwkoop, which sees itself as an oasis in the Green Heart, is also in close proximity (up to 4 km). On the provincial road in the direction of Nieuwkoop is a tourist office, where you can extensively inform about the countless possibilities for events and trips in the area. You can, of course, also visit the reception or the friendly family of the owner.
