Camping De Bovenberg near Markelo lies quietly and directly on the edge of a wood in a hilly terrain surrounded by fields, moors and forests. A number of marked Nordic Walking routes start at the Bovenberg campsite. Walking sticks can be rented at the campsite. The group accommodation belonging to the campsite is separate from the rest of the campsite. The new part of the campsite has a modern and clean sanitary block and spacious camping pitches with a water connection at every location. The campsite has its own natural pool (3500 m2) with a maximum depth of 1.40 m. A shallow part is separated for young children. The camp site offers a limited recreation program in high season. Camping De Bovenberg in Markelo has special attractive rates for campers in the low season.
