Camping Alkmaar is a green, spacious campsite, quietly located between the cozy city of Alkmaar (about 2 km), the picturesque artists' village of Bergen (about 3 km), a beautiful dune and forest area (about 3 km) and the North Sea beach (about 7 km). One moment you can enjoy the beauty of the North Holland landscape through the numerous cycling or walking routes. The other moment you wander along the picturesque canals, numerous shopping streets, impressive museums and atmospheric terraces of the old city center of Alkmaar. With its famous cheese market every Friday morning from April to September. Our campsite is also a great base for other trips of various kinds, such as a day in Amsterdam, Volendam, Texel, the Zaanse Schans or Enkhuizen for example.
