On the edge of the cozy green village Westerbork, in the middle of forest and heathland, lies Landgoed Börkerheide, a "Estate with camping facilities in nature". A large part of it estate consists of a natural ven. At the edge of the ven exclusively camped with a tent (natural camping). On the open places in the forest on the edge of the heath are beautiful camping pitches situated, so that it is also wonderful to stay there. Open spaces have been created on the edge of the forest, with the aim to give the heathland the chance to continue on a part of the campsite develop. The entrance to the campsite is in the forest and from there it goes cart track (a paved path) through the forest to the spacious camping pitches. The info point, at the entrance and beginning of the cart track, give you the opportunity to do some more collect information about the campsite and its surroundings.
