Orrefors Camping is located in the center of the glass district. Orrefors Camping is located on a peninsula 3 km NW of Orrefors on the Oranäsasjön. A beautiful lake for fishing or swimming in the beautiful outdoor pool with sunbathing and changing accommodation. Orrefors Camping has 50 pitches with electricity and 2 large meadows with space for 30 caravans. For the real campers there is also a tent field. The campsite campers will find good sanitary facilities in the centrally located heated service house as well as a washing-up room, where you can use oven and microwave for free. Camping under the old trees that cover the whole campsite in the warm summers provide wonderful shade and at times less good weather for shelter. There are playgrounds for children. The campsite has 6 stuga's which offer a cheap alternative to hotel or youth hostel and ideal for those without mobile accommodation. In the vicinity are a number of large glass factories, including in Orrefors, Kosta and Boda. But you will also find numerous induvidable artists who would like to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of glass art. The distances to other events such as Astrid Lindgren's world are not a problem due to the relaxed atmosphere on the Swedish roads and for this reason Orrefors camping is a good starting point.
