The camping pitches of Gruinard Bay Caravan Park are situated on a flat grass site adjacent to the sea. From your pitch you have direct access to the few meters lower sandy beach of the Gruinard bay, which is partly covered with boulders. The vast view and tranquility are two strengths of the campsite. The only thing that might disturb the tranquility of the campsite is the striking of the waves on the coast. By making a trip on the road, where the campsite is located, the A832, you can get a good impression of the beautiful nature of this part of the Scottish west coast. It is a small campsite with simple and moderate sanitary facilities. In the village of Laide, within walking distance, is a post office, annex petrol station and shop.
