Located in an idyllic spot in the Highlands along the forest and a river, close to the Loch Ness, whiskey distilleries and golf courses. The camping pitches of Black Rock Caravan & Camping Park are situated on an idyllic location along a forest edge and the River Glass. All places are flat; partly with a base of grass and partly provided with paving with gravel. In relation to the number of places, the sanitary facilities are very extensive. For children there is a playroom and a playground with a number of devices. There is a restaurant (village inn) 200 meters from the park. At certain times there are also music evenings provided by Highland musicians. A shop, open every day, is also nearby, while the towns of Alness and Dingwall are located at 6.5 and 9.5 km respectively. On a separate area in the back of the park there are a number of mobile homes intended for rental. The minimum rental period for this is 3 days. For, for example, backpackers, one can also rent a so-called bunkhouse for one night. In addition to making (mountain) walks, the campsite is also a great base for trips through the Highlands and for exploring the West Coast. It is a half hour drive to Loch Ness and about one hour to Ullapool. 2 whiskey distilleries can be visited nearby (Glenmorangie and Glen Ord). For golfers it is important to know that there are 14 golf courses in the area less than half an hour away. In Evanton they are proud that they have the most dry days of Scotland.
