Quiet campsite with a beautiful view over the mountains and the sea, close to the tourist town of Oban, from where you can make excursions to the islands. Oban Caravan & Camping Park at the Gallanachmore Farm is located on the coast at 4 km south-west of Oban. In the center of the city you first follow the route to the campsites and then the signs with the indication GALLANACH. The campsite is large and has several terraces and a separate field for tents (also with electricity). Because of the high location you have a beautiful view over the sea and the surrounding mountain landscape from the spacious camping pitches. Peace and quiet is characteristic of this natural campsite. The plumbing is simple. Mobile homes and bungalows can be rented at the campsite. But there is also accommodation that can be rented per night. Handy for backpackers who do not want to put up the tent. There are plenty of water sports facilities in the adjacent bay. The tourist Oban has many shops and restaurants, it is possible to rent on-site bikes and marked trails are available. Golfers are welcome at the local golf course. You can book excursions to the islands of Mull, Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish. And there is a war museum.
