Speyside Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Door beplanting omzoomd en met enkele bomen beplant ruim grasterrein, centraal gelegen voor de malt-whisky route en onderdeel van de Speyside Way.
Surrounded by planting and planted with a few trees, spacious grass area, centrally located for the malt-whiskey route and part of the Speyside Way. The camping pitches of Speyside Camping and Caravanning Club Site are situated on a rectangular and slightly sloping grass area surrounded by vegetation. On the terrain itself little upward planting has been made, so that the open character is preserved. Besides grass pitches there are also a number of paved places. The plumbing is somewhat dated, but is kept very clean. The Speyside Way is more than 130 km long and connects the Moray coast with the Grampian Mountains. In Aberlour there is a Visitor Center where you can watch movies about the Speyside Way. There are over 50 whiskey distilleries in Speyside, of which the famous Macallan Distillery is within walking distance of the campsite. You can shop in Aberlour and Craigellachie, the nearest big city is Elgin.
