Camping Cepo Verde is located on the edge of Parque Natural Montesinho in North-East Portugal. The campsite has simple sanitary facilities with hot showers and beautiful spacious pitches, laid out in terraces, which are easily accessible. The shade is for a large part supplied by cherry trees. There is a swimming pool, a playground and a playing field. You can go hiking from the campsite. The information is available at the reception. On the terrace or in the café you can enjoy a warm meal and drink the wine of the region. From camping Cepo Verde you can enjoy the surroundings and authentic Portuguese villages. The city of Bragança has an old, walled city center and many small shops. The city became known as the cradle of the Portuguese royal family. At a well-preserved gate in the double wall, there is a statue of Fernando, the second duke of Bragança. Fortaleza, dating from the twelfth century, was an impregnable castle with no less than 18 towers. The most impressive is the Torre de Managem of 34 m. High. Furthermore, the city and the surrounding villages and places offer a large amount of special religious and historical attractions. After such a day of nature and culture in northern Portugal it is wonderful to enjoy the evening from your camping spot of beautiful sunsets.
