Camping Vila Caia is located a few kilometers from the beach between Praia de Mira and the lovely Portuguese village of Mira. After a day at the beach, it is a bit away from the crowds, wonderfully quiet at Camping Vila Caia. The campsite gives the impression of a park with lots of water features and offers plenty of shade and sun possibilities. This campsite invites you to take a walk on the terrain. Here you can see frogs, ducks and swans and with some luck a squirrel or a rabbit. Everywhere at the campsite you will find cozy seating areas and dining areas with barbecue. The toilets are simple and clean. There are new detached bungalows with plenty of space around. In high season there is a lot of liveliness on this campsite with swimming pool, cafeteria, meeting point, restaurant. Outside the high season these facilities are closed or only open on weekends. The campsite has very attractive low season prices and discounts for longer stays. Do not be put off by the first impression left in the low season on arrival. At the entrance there is a large area for tents; caravan and camper pitches are around the corner, out of sight of the entrance. From the campsite it is 3 kilometers to the beach. The road is flat and with the bike (on the bike path) to do very well. Bike rental is available. Mira offers ample opportunities for daily shopping.
