This is a small neatly maintained site with lots of shade. There are 250 pitches, which means that the plots are very small. However, this is not a problem outside of the season. This campsite is peacefully situated on the Mondego River. There is direct access to the river beach. You can swim or fish in the river. The plumbing is simple. You can use barbecues on site. The village of Penacova is 3 kilometers away. Many Portuguese people stay with a discount card at this camp site. With an international CampingCard you also receive a discount on the overnight rates. It is confusing that there is a campsite a little further along with the same name, but with Municipal before. Make sure you visit the right one.
