Camping Parque Municipal de Peniche is a very cheap and very large campsite with many permanent pitches. Around the campsite, separated by a road, you will find the sea. The campsite is located in dune area and therefore a lot of sand and few shady pitches. A hard surface is available for caravans and campers. Some of the sanitary facilities have been renovated. Private sanitary facilities are available for wheelchair drivers. This is a real beach campsite and in high season there is direct access to the beach from the campsite. Within 500 meters you can choose different beaches, mostly depending on the wind direction. In view of the size of the campsite, it is advisable here to lock your belongings properly. Lockers are available at reception. The center of Peniche is within walking distance and for this you have to take into account about 2 kilometers. There is a footpath built, so it is a pleasant walk. A swimming paradise is located next to the campsite.
