The campsite is located on the water on a peninsula in the beautiful Lough Ree and is part of a beautiful estate. The grass area is nicely sheltered between trees and bushes. There are some paved places. At about 500 m from Hodson Bay Caravan & Camping Park are sandy beaches and countless water sports for young and old. You can fish freely from the shore of the campsite. In 2012 a new start was made with the operation of Hodson Bay Caravan & Camping Park, which makes a visit in 2013 definitely worthwhile.
