The Greek campsite Olympios Zeus is located in a quiet area and on a beautiful sandy beach. At the reception you will be treated nicely and friendly in English by two ladies. You will find a cozy restaurant, pizzeria and bar at the campsite, all with a terrace right by the sea. An ambience in which one feels completely in Greece. You can watch important TV broadcasts on the large screen on the terraces. Toilets and showers are reasonable. As a foreigner you get a 20% discount on normal camping and rental prices all year round on presentation of which Campingcard. Olympios Zeus offers free WIFI. In the early and late season, this site is very quiet. In July it is usually completely full and reservation is necessary. Many of the 100 places are touristy, a few are right by the sea. There are also a large number of bungalows for rent with plenty of space around. There is no cooking facilities, no coffee machine, but toilet, shower and large single beds. Daily cleaning is part of the deal. In July and August there is occasionally some noise from the beach club of the neighbor. If you want to rent bikes, the reception will arrange for a bicycle to be delivered to the campsite. There are also a number of sports fields for football, volleyball and handball. Watersports such as water skiing and "the banana" at 1 km distance. According to the experts, the beach is a good fishing spot. You have a beautiful view of the Olympus Mountain inland, sometimes covered with snow until well into the summer. A great environment to discover the mountains and have a look around in the nearby Dion and Vergina with its tombs. In the village of Leptokava (4 km) you will find restaurants and all kinds of nice shops. Inland lies Litochorou, the entrance to Mount Olympus.
