Campingplatz am Tor zum Hainich
Nieuw opgezette camping met ruime plaatsen en prima sanitair, naast het nationaal park Hainich.
Camping Tor zum Hainich is a newly designed campsite right next to the National Park Hainich. A lovely nature reserve, where you can walk for hours. Hainich National Park was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in June 2011, because it is one of the last original 'primeval forests' in Europe. A big attraction is the 'Boomkronenpad', which is located right behind the campsite. The campsite has very spacious pitches and looks very well cared for. The toilets are hypermodern and clean. There is a lot of young planting and there are still plans for a private outdoor pool. From the campsite you have a beautiful view where you can watch 50 kilometers far in clear weather. Next to the campsite is a 'Trabi-museum', which is certainly worth a visit.
