This campsite is located on the banks of the Kiel Förde at the entrance of the North-East Sea Canal (Kieler Canal). From here you have a fantastic view of the large ships that pass by. There are excellent opportunities for walking and cycling. The town of Kiel is about 11 km from the campsite and can be reached by a good bus and boat connection. It is certainly worthwhile to visit this city.
