The last 800 m through the forest on a (paved) forest road and we reach the campsite, really surrounded by woods (deer!) And the Grossen Pälitzsee. It is a little terraced, and hilly descending to the lake. A part is under the trees, but there are also open grass plains. There are many water tourists with canoes but it is also suitable for motor boats (connection with other waterways) and for swimmers. You will find the real nature friends here often. Surroundings: Rheinsberg castle, Ravensbrück camp, old Neustrelitz residence, Müritz national park.
