Camping Auensee in Köditz (municipality Joditz) is a simple municipal site, located on a small lake (Auensee) with a large, gently sloping lawn and restaurant, right on the lake, in a wooded area. Many permanent pitches, but also space for tourist camping. The tent area is beautiful on the lake and makes use of the toilets of the recreation area. The bathroom is simple but is reasonably maintained. The site is on a sloping terrain and is somewhat terraced. We use friendly rates. Around Koditz there are 50 km of cycle paths, including the Saale Radwanderweg which also runs through the hospitable Joditz; there are also plenty of walking opportunities. Ask for cycling and hiking maps at the reception. Various trips are also possible with the car. For example to the Czech Republic, Dresden. If you want to continue, Munich, Leipzig and even Berlin are also accessible.
