The Am Badesee municipal site in Sulzfeld in Grabfeld has a relatively large number of permanent pitches and seasonal pitches, some of them somewhat terraced. The campsite is located on a lake. The lake has an attractive, undulating sunbathing area, adorned with shady trees and many places to sit, relax or exercise. There are jetties and there are two slides, also for the little ones. There is also a nice sandy beach. Near the adjacent sanitary building is a covered barbeque area and space has been reserved for tents. The plumbing has only been renewed and properly maintained. There are beautiful shower rooms. There is also sanitary for the disabled. The guests are very satisfied with this. The campsite has a small but attractive number of places (50) for short or longer stays. One has even reserved an extra space in case the influx of tourist campers would be higher than normal. The camp site, on the other side of the road, has fields suitable for groups. This is regularly used. There is regularly something to do at the campsite, for example around Pentecost. Recently they offered a rally for Oldtimer cars. That will repeat itself. The municipality of Sulzfeld organizes all sorts of activities during the months of June, August and September. For example, sporting activities such as table tennis, walks, mini golf, bike rides. But also music, tours, etc. As of the 2012 season, a beer walk of 8 km is being held, with visits to 5 establishments and a beer brewery. On the grounds near the lake there is a playground, a map with cycling and hiking trails, giant chess, giants, people-and-you-not, beach volleyball court. There is also a restaurant with beer garden. There is rental of bicycles and electric bikes. The campsite has friendly rates. The base rate in 2011 is € 13.00 excluding electricity.
