Campingpark Murner See is located in a quiet, rural area in a lake district near the town of Wackersdorf. This popular site is located between the Murner Meer and the Brückelmeer. The camping park has a lot to offer. The spacious pitches (100 to 150 m2) are on grass, but on a firm surface. Many places are on the shores of the lake. The pitches are easy to reach, even for larger vehicles. The bathroom is of a good level. Everything is there that you can expect on a larger campsite. The buildings are pleasantly heated, including underfloor heating. Beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the surrounding forests and hills. The landscape is sloping, so also nice to cycle. Rental of bicycles and boats. Just outside the park or within walking distance is a miniature golf course, a bungee trampoline, beach volleyball field and Germany's largest indoor / outdoor cross-country track for karts. There are also opportunities for all kinds of water sports, football, diving, golf and there is a sailing school, inline skating, badminton. In the surrounding forests the "Vita Parcours" with many fitness exercises. The lake has excellent bathing water. The water is so composed that it has a positive effect on your skin. Inquire about this at the reception, which is staffed by friendly staff. On site there is the Villa Murano restaurant with Bavarian cuisine. Highlights in the summer are the Bürgerfest and the Seefest with grand fireworks. The area offers possibilities for excursions. A visit to Regensburg, "the northernmost city of Italy", is worth a visit. But you can also visit the rocky labyrinth of nearby Schwandorf.
