Camping Insel is beautifully situated and lies over a length of 500 meters along the river Regnitz. Camping Insel has a state-of-the-art, very comfortable sanitary building centrally in the grounds. The reception building with restaurant will be fat-built and modernized in 2012. The sanitary building is under the toilets, above the showers. Very modern and with a first class four star level. Does homely! A pleasure to stay there! Camping Insel has a cozy restaurant with a terrace. The campsite has no marked out places, but certainly offers plenty of space. Along the river many places are reserved for tents, but there are also places for short stays, youth fields and the like. There is a double log cabin in the rental. The owner is an art connoisseur and organizes art galleries at the campsite. This can also be seen in the art on the campsite. The city of Bamberg is a city with a historic and romantic allure, which is worth a visit. Do not forget to take a ride through the Fränkische Schweiz.
