A new name, a new face, a new vision. Camping An der Altmühl continues under the name Altmühltaler Naturpark Camping with the aim of development and modernization for you as a camper. Altmühltaler Naturpark Camping is located next to a sports park in the middle of the nature park Altmühltal, surrounded by hills, forests and fields, within walking distance of the village Beilngries, a beautiful and versatile part of Bavaria. This site has many paved areas on gravel, surrounded by grass, and a special field for tents, there is varied vegetation. A part of the campsite is located on an island and the two halves of the campsite are connected by a neat little bridge over the river. Altmühltaler Naturpark Camping has a modern, beautiful, well maintained heated sanitary building. The swimming pool, sports and tennis courts are right next to the campsite. There is a bistro with beer-like interior, the restaurant is popular with Dutch people. Sleeping in a Schlaffass: Directly on the sunbathing lawn, with beautiful views over the hills, forests and fields, are idyllically decorated sleeping vessels in various outfits. A natural place for young and old, with the smell of wood in the open air. If you look out of the window in the evening you will see an amazing and fascinating sunset. Beilngries is a lively town, including "Italian Summer" and culinary delights. There are excellent cycling and walking routes in the area, in addition castles, churches and museums tell about the rich past of Beilngries.
