Be sure to bring your bicycle or rent one at the campsite. The area surrounding Lake Constance is extremely cycle-friendly. Rent a canoe or kayak and relax on Lake Constance or go paddle boarding. A visit to one of the islands is definitely worthwhile. This can easily be done with a boat trip on one of the tour boats. Consider Mainau, also known as the 'flower island'. The island is actually covered with one large park that is built around the palace, which was built in Baroque style. A paradise for plant and flower lovers. Due to the mild climate, exotic plants also thrive here. Visit the large butterfly house or one of the changing flower exhibitions.
