Camping Am Steinbacher See

Promo title

Een groen, idyllisch plekje met een historisch stadje op loopafstand. Een gezellige camping met een geheel eigen stijl en karakter.

Camping Am Steinbacher See is located at the foot of the former Benedictine Monastery Coburg on the Steinbacher See, in the middle of a nature protection area. A beautiful, green environment. Simple, small and cozy, as a transit camp or for just a weekend. Schwäbisch Hall (35000 inhabitants) is one of the most beautiful old towns in southern Germany. Schwäbisch Hall and its surroundings have so many opportunities for lovers of art and culture that it is worth it for a longer stay. Such as: the Freilichtspiele (June, July) with drama, musical, comedy, the Solbad (solarium, sauna, massage, restaurant), Benedictine Monastery Grosscomburg, Langenburg Castle (including a climbing park), German Automuseum, Kunsthal Würth, city tours, shopping center , summer evening parties, cheese market, children's flea market, jazz festival, Christmas market, etc. The area also offers plenty of opportunity for cycling and walking. The campsite is run by a family and has been awarded several times. The camp site has recently been praised by a regional organization for its exceptional seniority. But the campsite certainly offers atmosphere and conviviality for families with (smaller) children. The places are on grass, the vegetation is varied with, among other things, old trees and sometimes ivy that has made its way along the trunks. This makes the campsite greener than it already is. The campsite has a cozy gym, a beach volleyball court, a boules court and also an internet point. The atmospheric café has a terrace. The sanitary room has a special, individual atmosphere and is stylishly constructed. A fish pond at the front. The historic and cozy town of Schwäbisch Hall has partially retained the city wall. The central market square is surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Excursions are possible to Langenburg (about 24 km) with a large castle with a special courtyard, but there is also a car museum with 70 old cars. The important place Stuttgart (70 km) is of course also worth a visit, including a visit to the Mercedes Benz Museum.
