Camping Le Château de Rochetaillée is located 7 km before Bourg d'Oisans in the Rhône Alpes on a wooded site of 3 ha around a 19th century castle. The restaurant is located in the basement of the castle, the reception is located in the entrance hall. The demarcated pitches have sufficient shade and vary greatly in size. The paths are rather narrow, which sometimes makes it difficult to turn into a caravan. The campsite has many sports facilities, which campers can use for free, including a climbing wall and a mini golf course. The plumbing is well maintained, but is somewhat dated. The campsite is close to the Parc des Ecrins and several cols, of which the Alpe d'Huez is the best known. In addition to the usual rental accommodation, Le Château de Rochetaillée offers three hotel rooms, of which the guests can make use of all the facilities of the campsite.
