La Pierre de l'Aigle campsite is located in the south-west corner of the Lac de Serre Ponçon, on the route from Gap to Barcelonnette. It is a small campsite (about 50 places) in a quiet area with good facilities, such as a nice swimming pool, a cozy bar / snack and sanitary facilities. Under the trees is a miniature golf course with 2 picnic tables. The Lac de Serre Ponçon is a large reservoir of 3000 ha. On the west and on the east side of the lake there are 2 beautiful roads (the D3 or the D954) that provide an uninterrupted and ever-changing view of the lake. At the northeastern point of the lake is the tourist town of Embrun, where many Dutch campers stay every year. South of La Bréole is a winter sports area with, among other things, the nice town of Seyne.
