Kawan Village d'Apamée is located on the outskirts of Pamiers, the largest city in the Ariége, is an excellent starting point for various excursions and offers many activities for the youth in high season. The site has a well maintained grass area with plenty of shade, a nice swimming pool and good sanitary facilities. The campsite has various rental accommodations. There is a snack bar and terrace by the pool and for fresh bread you do not have to finish the camping because you can order it at the reception. The Ariege flows along the campsite and the center of the city with its shops is within walking distance. A must is a visit to the caves in the region and the village of Mas-d'Azil.
