Discover the rugged beauty of the French Pyrenees from the Dutch-run campsite Les Sapins ** near Camurac. The campsite is located on the border of the Midi Pyrennée and the Languedoc Roussillion. Spectacular gorges, mountain tops and caves dominate the area. Ancient culture can be found among others at Montsegur, the last bastion of the Cathars. From the campsite you can walk and enjoy the beautiful nature. Here you also have the chance to get acquainted with canyoning, rock climbing, rafting, caving, abseiling mountain biking and much more. If you wish, you can take part in the most spectacular mountain sports with guidance. You can go to the reception for information about the region and the various walks, bike rides and excursions. The campsite has a cozy bar with a garden terrace and offers a "plat du jour", snacks, ice cream and fries. BBQ evenings are organized. There is a swimming pool. A visit to this campsite is also highly recommended in winter; the campsite is close to the Camurac ski station and is open to campers in winter. The rental accommodations are also available in the winter. The ski area is suitable for families and is fairly quiet.
