The municipal campsite Les Rives de la Bouzanne is located in the middle of the village of Le Pont Chrétien-Chabenet, about 3 km west of the A20 (near Argenton). It is a small, inexpensive campsite with beautiful old trees and simple sanitary facilities. Although the campsite is located almost in the middle of the village, it is very quietly situated on the banks of the river Bouzanne. The campsite is very suitable for a stopover. Nearby is a large supermarket on the outskirts of Argenton. In the immediate vicinity are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and beautiful trips. Le Pont Chrétien-Chabenet is located near the Regional Natural Park De la Brenne, the area is called the 'land of the 1000 lakes'. This park is home to the largest animal and nature reserve in France, La Haute Touche. Here live on a 100 ha site about 1000 animals that have their origins on 5 different continents.
