Camping La Chevrette is located on the left bank of the Loire 500m from the town of Digoin in the Loire-Saone region of Bougogne. The Digion campsite was traditionally a municipal site, but is now privately managed. The guests of the campsite can recently use the new swimming pool at the campsite, but you can also swim in the Loire. There is a miniature golf course and playground for children. The camping pitches are level and partly paved, about 100 m2 in size and shady. The bathroom is good and clean. The campsite has a restaurant / snack bar and you can use wireless internet. (reach over half of the campsite) At the campsite you can rent a canoe to make a relaxing trip on the Loire. Your tour can start upstream, you will be dropped off by canoe and can paddle back to the campsite at your leisure through the beautiful landscape. The environment of Digion is fairly flat and therefore very attractive for cycling enthusiasts. Several cycle routes lead you along the Loire and through the beautiful quiet nature. If you have not taken a bike yourself, no problem at the campsite you can rent bikes. The center of Digion is within walking distance and the campsite is easy to reach.
