Camping La Tourelle is centrally located for sightseeing and in a rural environment. 148 Km. on hiking trails are laid out and after a brisk walk one can relax in the large indoor pool where there is also a sauna. The campsite is located at the foot of a rock on which Moncontour is built, a small characteristic town belonging to "les plus beau villages de France". It is one of the best preserved walled towns in Brittany. The medieval festival takes place in August with noblemen, minstrels, troubadours, jugglers and fire-eaters. In the immediate vicinity you can admire various medieval buildings such as churches and chapels and from later periods also beautiful castles. 20 minutes away is not only the nature park of the bay of St. Brieuc but also the idyllic town of Binic.
