A quiet campsite in Contis-les-Bains in Les Landes with very spacious wooded pitches, various types of mobile homes, chalets, tents and log cabins. Ideally located on the banks of a river, by the sea, near dunes and in the middle of a huge pine forest. Miles of beach and pine forests!
The high waves are ideal for surfers of all ages. Stand-up paddle, canoeing or kayaking is possible on the Courant de Contis, a special place of 450 hectares of swamp, classified as "Natura 2000". Come and admire rare protected species: Mercury dragonflies, the European tortoise, otters, herons, kingfishers...
The area is ideal for cycling trips. A cycle path shielded from the road runs from Contis to St Julien en Born, another leads to Saint Girons Plage or further north to Mimizan. The cycle paths wind along the beach under the pine trees and are part of the Vélodyssée.
