The campsite is surrounded by fields here since 1954. On the other side of the road begins the rocky coast, from the lower part of the campsite there is a path to the beach of Socoa, 8 minutes walking. It is a sloping terrain, with terraces that die (little traffic). The places are flat. There are quite a lot of trees, so almost all places have shade. Nearby: Hendaye, (surfing), St. Jean de Luz, Bayonne with the Basque museum and harbors and the beautiful resort Biarritz.
