Camping in nature at the foot of the Pyrenees

The campsite is ideally located near the medieval town of Navarrenx in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, on the banks of the Gave river in the middle of nature. An hour's drive and you are in the Spanish Basque Country and on the Atlantic coast. Hospitality is of paramount importance to Clara and Stéfane. Guests feel at home in this green oasis of peace. Chalets and lodge tents can be rented in all shapes and sizes. Traditional camping is possible on comfort and grand comfort pitches.

Facilities at Beau Rivage campsite
Fresh fruit, vegetables, bread or regional products can be purchased at the mobile grocery store. Do not feel like cooking? Taste the homemade pizzas and enjoy a glass of wine at the pool bar. Nice!

Wifi is free and there is an emergency repair service for campers and caravans. Do you want to store your camper or caravan? There is a closed and secured covered parking area 500 m away.

Animation at the campsite
No big theme evenings at this campsite in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, but fun for the whole family. Think of a magician, games for the children but also live music concerts with local Basque or Béarn singers and musicians. Walking, cycling, motorcycling and fishing are all possible in the area. Would you rather stay at the campsite? Also nice! There is a playground and you can play table tennis and tennis for free. You can borrow balls and rackets for children. After all the effort, you can relax on a lounger by the pool. No slides, diving boards or water parks here. The pool is completely fenced and safe for children.

Activities in the area
The Béarn nature reserve in the Acquitaine region is ideally suited for walks in the area. Would you rather explore the Basque Country or the Pyrenees? Ask for advice at reception. Are you more of an adventurer and do you not shy away from a challenge? The Gave d'Oloron is the perfect place for whitewater sports. Go rafting, paddling, kayaking or canoeing. Motorcyclists can make numerous trips from the campsite. Cyclists are in the right place at the Beau Rivage campsite, south of Orthez and west of Pau. The paths near the campsite are varied: stony paths, unpaved roads, slightly wetter paths… all on the slopes around the beautiful village of Navarrenx. There are also a few relatively easy trails.
