Camping L'Ermitage is a municipal site on the outskirts of the village of Donville Les Bains. It is a campsite without much frills but cozy and well maintained. The entire site is intended for guests with tents, caravans or campers. One can not rent a mobile home or whatever. The manager and operator are very friendly and helpful. The village offers all possibilities in the field of sports and games. Near the L'Ermitage is the wide sandy beach of the bay. Oyster farms are in the bay. The port city that runs against Donville is called Granville and is a lively and interesting town with an old town. It is nice to see that part of the harbor is dry at low tide so that the boats are like "old dirt". The reception is closed from 12.30 to 14.30 in high season and from 12.00 to 15.00 in low season.
